Online check-in
Not only can you book quickly and simply online, but you can also check in over the internet – as much as 30 hours before departure. If you are travelling only with hand luggage, you can then go at the airport straight to the gate and present the boarding card you yourself have printed out, thus saving yourself valuable minutes. Should you be travelling with additional luggage, present your printed boarding card at the check-in counter and hand in your luggage.

It so easy and straightforward to use the airberlin MMS check-in service to check in for your flight and have the boarding card sent to you using the MMS facility.

Should you wish to reserve another seat for your airberlin flight whilst you’re already en route, you can do so throughout Europe using the SMS seat reservation facility.

Quick check-in at the airport
The airberlin check-in machines are quick and easy to use, whether you’re travelling with or without luggage. At Düsseldorf Airport you’ll find the machines in the car parks and in departure area Terminal B.

Check in the evening before departure
Of course you can still simply check in at an airberlin counter at the airport. Either on the day of your departure or even the evening before. The Late Night Check-in means you can hand in your luggage the evening before your departure and get your boarding card.

The Late Night Check-in is available daily from 6.00 pm - 900 pm on the departures level in Terminal C at the counters 251-260.
