Lots of fun for children in the terminal
The "Airport Arkaden" (Arcades) and the "Reisemarkt" (Travel Market) at Düsseldorf Airport will once again be inviting young and old to the Airlebnis Sunday on the first weekend in March. ‘Shopping, Enjoyment and Experience’ is the motto on 3rd of March 2013 because, from 11am till 6pm, visitors can look forward to a colorful programme with events for children, lotteries and lots more. The shops and restaurants will be open on Airlebnis Sunday – as every day– until 9pm so that you can carry on shopping to your heart’s content.
Discover the world of the circus
Juggling, balancing or dancing – the Cologne Circus will be providing young visitors to the event with a fun way of getting into the exciting world of the circus. They will be able to juggle with balls, cloths and rings, have a go at diabolo, practise as a fakir and perform on stage themselves to great applause. But adults are also invited to have a go as acrobats and try out something new.
Win your personal dream holiday
On this day and with a little bit of luck, visitors can win their dream holiday. Because anyone booking a trip on Airxperience Sunday in the Reisemarkt on levels 2 and 3 and taking part in the lottery ‘You book – we pay!’ will have the chance of having the cost reimbursed by the airport. And there’ll also be a small present for every trip booked at the Airxperience information point. And the little ones can put their knowledge to the test at the airport rally, the winner being presented with a shopping voucher for United Labels, the comic ware shop in the Airport Arkaden.
