Ju-Air

The Mönchengladbach-based JU52, with the identification code “HB-HOY”, stood on the observation deck of Düsseldorf Airport, unable to fly, until 1990. Then the Düsseldorf-based “Association of Friends of Historical Aircrafts” took it over and, with the support of monetary donations, had it made airworthy by the JU-AIR. Although the “HB-HOY” is registered in Switzerland, it is now available in Mönchengladbach a better part of year for sightseeing and charter flights.
