A social wall is a digital platform that aggregates content from various social networks and displays it in a central view, e.g. on a physical screen. The content consists of posts published by the operator of the social wall or users on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn or X.

The DUS social wall is located in a public area at Düsseldorf Airport.

In order to appear with a post on the DUS social wall, users have two options.

Option 1: Posting without a social media account
Scan the QR code from the physical screen on the action area. Then upload a picture, add a description and #enjoydus and enter personal details such as name and e-mail address. After a content check by the social media team, the post will be visible on the DUS social wall.

Option 2: Posting with a social media account
If a post is to appear on the DUS social wall, users have to use the hashtag #enjoydus when posting via Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn or X platforms. After a content check by the social media team, the post will be visible on the DUS social wall.

The postings are checked by the social media team of Düsseldorf Airport before final publication. This may take some time. The post on the DUS social wall will therefore not be visible in real time. Düsseldorf Airport reserves the right to filter out inappropriate content.

Every user who publishes a post on the DUS social wall via the QR code on the screen in the period from June 3rd until October 31st 2024 (see above, option 1) automatically takes part in the competition and secures the chance to win a prize package (including €100 DUS Airport vouchers). Users who publish a post on the DUS Social Wall directly via their social media account cannot take part in the competition. You can find the conditions for taking part in the competition here.
