Corporate Mission Statement

We are a meeting place: here, in the centre of Europe, tens of thousands of people from different nations come together every day. We are the heart of the strong Rhine-Ruhr economic region: a campus with over 20,000 workplaces, embedded in a close network of partners. This makes us a place for ideas, for development, for smart growth. We are not just any airport, but a unique place with a purpose.
Our mission statement is an expression of this DNA, a compass and at the same time a map for our sustainable, successful development in the coming years: it describes how we see ourselves and gives us orientation. It formulates our strategic goals, programs and projects that contribute to this. It defines the values that determine our attitude and our actions as well as the immovable cornerstones that form the foundation of our company.

Our vision: Destination of Excellence

Our vision is based on what we are and what we represent as a community. It answers the question: What do we want to stand for in ten years' time? And it expresses our aspiration. The claim that people can rely on us. People who take off, transfer, land and work here. We want to bring these people closer to their destination. With great commitment and high quality.
Our vision will inspire us over the next few years and give us a constant boost. It cannot be achieved in a short-haul flight. But we will get there together. Because we have everything it takes: ambition, perseverance and the necessary know-how.
