Düsseldorf Airport named Best Regional Airport Europe 2025 by Skytrax World Airport Awards

The “industry Oscar” is one of the most prestigious awards in the aviation sector. Since 1999, the UK-based consultancy Skytrax has conducted the world’s largest customer satisfaction survey in air travel. Passengers from over 100 countries evaluate more than 500 airports worldwide. The focus lies on all key aspects of the passenger experience: from check-in, security controls, and cleanliness to wayfinding, service, dining, and transport connections.

In the global category Best Regional Airports, Düsseldorf ranks 3rd, and in the overall ranking of all 575 evaluated airports, we achieved 28th place.

The category “Regional Airport” includes airports that mainly serve intra-European or continental connections – meaning they are not major intercontinental hubs.
