Travel in comfort

Rest, work, relax, read, make contacts, freshen up, enjoy a snack – how you use the time until your flight or connection in one of the lounges at Düsseldorf Airport is up to you. Make yourself at home and enjoy your time at the Airport!

Your exclusive retreat at the airport

Even more comfort, even more experience: Düsseldorf Airport is completely redesigning and rebuilding its lounge in Pier B. With modern design, regional accents, and an expanded culinary offering, the Rhine-Ruhr region will come to life. A special highlight is the 1,347 sq ft terrace with an unobstructed view of the apron – experience takeoffs, landings, and dispatches up close while you relax. The renovation is taking place during ongoing operations and the subsequent opening will take place in two phases:

  • Spring 2026: Completion of the upper level with terrace
  • Early summer 2026: Full opening

Mini Lounge by Little Pippa - The children's area in our lounges

Our younger guests can look forward to a lovingly designed children's area in the lounges. The Mini Lounge by Little Pippa in the Hugo Junkers Lounge and in the Open Sky Lounge is a cozy retreat tailored to the needs of families and children. There is a lot to discover here:

  • A diverse selection of children's books and toys, including bouncy animals, wooden sensory motor skills boards, Lego and stacking bricks and much more.
  • A special highlight: the Tonieboxes, which can be borrowed with various radio play figures in German, English and French - to suit the children's taste
  • High-quality children's furniture such as small tables and chairs - ideal for even the youngest children.

This turns waiting for the flight into a playful experience for children - with space to discover, read aloud and try things out. And for parents, our children's corner offers a place to take a deep breath, lean back and enjoy - with the good feeling that even the little travelers are in good hands.
