Park & Ride FAQ

The Park & Ride offer is available for parking lot P13, which is close to subway station “Lohausen”. From there, you can catch a subway on the U79 line every ten minutes. From the parking lot, first head west. Follow the path over the highway bridge! The bus stop is on the other side on your right. This is approx. 400m on foot.
The Park & Ride offer is valid from April 11 to December 31, 2025. During this period, users can park between 9:00 am and 1:00 am for a maximum of 8 hours.
Every customer receives a booking confirmation for the parking lot when they complete the parking booking. This confirmation is also the ticket for Düsseldorf’s public transport system. It is valid as a round-trip ticket for all KombiTicket variations on the booked day for public transport within the city area. It is good for one, two, three, four or five people.

Since the end of March, the parking facilities at Düsseldorf Airport will gradually be equipped with automatic license plate recognition at the entrances and exits by the summer of this year. Until the conversion at P13 is complete, you will be able to enter using a QR code. Please note the following:

  1. Have the QR code ready on your smartphone or as a printout when you enter.
  2. Place the QR code in the center of the holder on the barrier machine.
  3. After a successful scan, a parking ticket is generated, which is used to exit.

As soon as the changeover to P13 has been completed, simply drive up to the barrier, your license plate number will be recorded based on the information in the online booking and the barrier will open. The same applies to the exit.

The KombiTicket entitles you to a free round-trip on all transportation within the local public transport system (called VRR) and includes 2nd class/economy class trips (A price level) on DB trains (Deutsche Bahn - German rail system) within Düsseldorf’s city limits. The subway line U79 takes you to the city centre and back from the stop “Lohausen”.
The KombiTickets are available for one, two, three, four or five people.
The Park & Ride offer with the KombiTicket cannot be cancelled.
